Goodland Presbyterian Children's Home
 |
The Goodland Presbyterian Children's Home, located near Hugo, Oklahoma, provides a safe home for boys ages 6-18.
The Fellowship Committee prepares and serves a meal for the boys and staff each year when they come to town for the Kuekelhan Rodeo each year. Before they leave, we usually try to send them on their way with some school supplies too. In 2004 we also sent them a gift of $400 from our operating budget.
The Home is working to collect labels and lids from Campbell's soups and other food products. Their goal is to collect 1,500,000 labels for a new 15 passenger van. FPC has joined this effort by saving labels and lids. A blue collection box is in the church, across from the office. Participating products include: Campbell's soups, Vlasic pickels. Pace Picante sauce and Pepperidge Farm products. For a complete listing of products and instructions, go to www.labelsforeducation.com
