FPC Calls New Pastor

First Presbyterian Church, Bonham is pleased to announce the ordination and installation of their new pastor, Lisa Reece. A special ordination and installation service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 8 in the church sanctuary.

Reece will be ordained as a Presbyterian Minister of the Word and Sacrament and will be officially installed as the Pastor of First Presbyterian Church.

The session and members of First Presbyterian Church invite the public and the religious community to join them for this joyous occasion. A welcoming reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall. For more information, call the church office, 903-583-2014.

Lisa Reece has most recently served as the Director of Christian Education at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Flower Mound, and has served as an Educator in seven PCUSA churches throughout Grace Presbytery and also as a chaplain in the Baylor Scott & White Healthcare System.  She is a PCUSA Certified Christian Educator and a Ruling Elder, has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Texas Tech University, and earned a Master of Divinity degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Perkins School of Theology, at SMU, in August of 2015.  She has enjoyed participating in and speaking at Presbyterian Women events and multi-generational church retreats and events over the years.  Lisa and her husband, Jerry, look forward to being part of the Bonham community.
