Good Friday Prayer Vigil

“… even death on a cross.” —Phil. 2:8

Ever since the first century, Christians have kept watch with Jesus for one hour, just as he asked the apostles to do in Gethsemane.  In keeping with FPC Holy Week tradition, the sanctuary will be open from noon – 10 pm on Friday, April 14 for the Good Friday prayer vigil.  A guided reflection on the Stations of the Cross will be available for all who wish to spend time in prayer and meditation.  This is a powerful way to prepare for the upcoming Easter season.  Those unable to come to the church to pray are encouraged to participate wherever they may be on Good Friday.
