First Presbyterian Church offers two adult Sunday School classes. Both meet at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings, except in July.
The long-running class, based on the lectionary text for the week, is led by Tommy Thornton and meets in the Williams Education Building.
The Gardener’s Sunday School class, which meets in the Williams Building Library/Parlor, is a discussion based class for adults of all ages.
Both provide great opportunities to learn and grow in your faith and discipleship of Jesus Christ. All are welcome.
Adult Bible Study at the Welch’s home has been postponed for the summer, and will resume again in September. Once resumed in September, they will meet at 6:30 pm every other Thursday, and is open to all adults. Contact the church office or Freida Welch with questions or for directions.
The Presbyterian Women meet the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Williams Building parlor.
The men’s fellowship group meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm to share a meal and learn about a variety of topics via guest speakers.
