Women's Group: Presbyterian Women

The women of First Presbyterian Church Bonham meet regularly on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the homes of members for Bible Study, business meeting and fellowship.

In addition to the Bible study, the women of the church ensure that wedding and baby showers are given, and that food is provided to members during times of illness or death in the family. The Presbyterian Women are also mission minded. The 2011 budget includes $150 to Goodland Boys Home, $150 to Itasca Children's Home and $250 to the SNAP Center here in Bonham.

We have a Thursday Meals of Wheels route. Every woman in FPC, regardless of age, is warmly invited to participate in the Presbyterian Women's group.

PW SPOTLIGHT

Presbyterian Women will meet December 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the Williams Education Building for cookies exchange. Please bring cookies to sample and some in baggies to share.

Next year’s study is Confessing the Beatitudes by Margaret Aymer. Study books are available in the church office.
