
Mission
Mission Committee is responsible to provide mission opportunities, inspiration, and motivation for the congregation.
This includes:
- 
Each meeting should include Prayer, Worship, Study, Fellowship, Service (inside and outside the church), and Invitation. 
- 
Plan and execute Mission projects, providing hands-on volunteer opportunities for the entire church family. 
- 
Participate in Mission partnerships with local, national and international organizations. 
- 
Challenge and motivate the members of the Church to share their time, talents and treasures with those in need. 
- 
Promote the annual Special Offerings of PC(USA) as approved by the session. 
- 
Organize fund raising activities that have been approved by the session to fund mission projects, as needed. 
- 
Coordinating advertisements and publicity for all special events. This consists of getting information in article form to the church office in a timely manner (no less than 3 weeks prior to event) for Friday Emails, Monthly Newsletters, Weekly Bulletins, Website, Social Media, and Press Releases to North Texas e-News. 
- 
Sponsoring and promoting opportunities to engage those outside the church. 
- 
Encouraging the congregation to invite others to worship and other church events. 
- 
Checking your committee mailbox weekly. Plus filling out the Expense/Reimbursement Form for any bill or invoice associated with your committee and put it in the Treasurer’s mailbox.
