Outreach

Fellowship is responsible to provide for sponsoring and promoting opportunities to engage those outside the church.

This includes:

• Each meeting should include Prayer, Worship, Study, Fellowship, Service (inside and outside the church), and Invitation.

• Sponsoring and promoting monthly churchwide fellowship events, including but not limited to 5th Wednesday Fellowship Night, and occasional special events for the church family such as:

• • Game Night

  • BINGO

  • Movies in the Garden

  • Ice Cream Socials

  • Field Trips

• Sponsoring and promoting opportunities to engage those outside the church.

• Encouraging the congregation to invite others to worship and other church events.

• Provide care and encouragement to prospective members.

• Help new members become assimilated into the full life of the church.

• Oversee the developement of materials to promote our church. 

• Provide a series of classes for new members, in coordination with the Pastor and Adult Ministry. 

• Checking your committee mailbox weekly. Plus fill out the Expense/Reimbursement Form for any bill or invoice associated with your committee and put it in the Treasurer’s mailbox.

• Coordinating advertisements and publicity for all special events. This consists of getting information in article form to the church office in a timely manner (no less than 3 weeks prior to event) for Friday Emails, Monthly Newsletters, Weekly Bulletins, Website, Social Media, and Press Releases to North Texas e-News.
