Personnel

Human Resource committee helps to ensure policies, procedures, and processes are in place to support church staff and volunteers.

This includes:

  • Each meeting should include Prayer, Worship, Study, Fellowship, Service (inside and outside the church), and Invitation.

  • In conjunction with the pastor/head of staff, overseeing the hiring or termination of paid church staff.

  • Promoting staff openings and conducting interviews to fill them.

  • Determining fair salaries and raises as appropriate.

  • Providing an annual review process for all employees.

  • Maintaining background checks for all employees cleared for service through the church office.

  • Making available a fair and equitable grievance process.
